SCOPE Rural Electrification
 
Component 1: Assess the current status of the understanding and application of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in the region, in order to plan strategies to overcome obstacles and build domestic technical capacities, in support of the work being developed by the national CDM authorities in each country.

Component 2: Develop methodological guidelines for preparing CDM projects and present the document and national experiences through 5 sub-regional seminars.
